Where is my portfolio stored?
Only in this browser's local storage (localStorage). It is never sent to altlar.com servers and no account is needed. If you clear your browser data the portfolio is deleted too, so use “Download backup” to keep a copy.
How is profit / loss calculated?
Cost is the unit purchase price you enter multiplied by the amount, and is subtracted from today's value. If you entered the purchase price in TRY, its dollar equivalent is converted at today's rate (and vice versa); historical rates are not used.
Can I see my portfolio on another device?
The portfolio is tied to the device. Download a backup on one device and open it on the other with “Restore from backup”.
Prices refresh every few minutes; assets with “no price” are left out of the totals. Data is for information only and is not investment advice.
