Quack AI (Q) is an on-chain infrastructure layer that lets decentralized communities hand over decision-making workflows to AI agents for automatic execution. At the core of the project sits the Q402 standard, which allows these agents to issue gasless, policy-controlled payment instructions across multiple blockchains without passing network fees on to the user.
How the Q token powers governance
The Q token anchors the network’s governance process. Holders can vote on proposals directly or delegate their voting power to an AI agent. Once delegated, the agent filters and scores incoming proposals according to preset rules and can settle approved actions without waiting for human input. Beyond voting, Q is also used to cover proposal submission fees and to unlock access to advanced on-chain analytics provided by the platform.
What the Q402 standard brings to on-chain payments
Usually, every on-chain payment requires the user to sign and pay gas. Q402 flips this model. The user signs a single authorization that defines a spending ceiling and an expiry window, while a facilitator covers the actual transaction cost. The authorization is revocable at any time and works with any ERC-20 token on any EVM network that supports EIP-7702. Because each payment is recorded on-chain and bound by the user’s policy, recurring treasury payouts or cross-chain state updates can run automatically without sacrificing auditability.
How Quack AI agents execute decisions
The system is built around three smart-contract modules: a proposal engine that filters and scores incoming ideas, a delegation layer that tracks delegated voting power, and an execution router that pushes approved actions to the target chain. When a community submits a proposal, the engine runs an initial quality check, the delegation layer tallies the weighted votes, and the router delivers the outcome to BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum, or any other integrated network. Throughout the process, Quack AI agents record every step on-chain, keeping the full trail open for anyone to verify.
