What is Aioz Network (AIOZ)?

AIOZ Network (AIOZ) is an infrastructure network that pools idle resources from individual devices around the world to deliver storage, AI computation, and media streaming services. Instead of building centralized data centers, the project turns unused storage space, processing power, and bandwidth of ordinary computers into functional services.

Running on a Cosmos SDK-based, EVM-compatible Layer-1 blockchain with a proof-of-stake consensus, the network follows a DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network) model: it combines physical hardware contributions with a crypto economy. Those who contribute computing resources to the network earn AIOZ tokens in return.

What services does the AIOZ network provide?

AIOZ Network does not rely on a single product but on four complementary core services:

  • AIOZ AI: A distributed compute platform and marketplace for training and running AI models, positioned as an alternative to large cloud providers' hardware monopolies.
  • AIOZ Stream: A peer-to-peer streaming platform for both live and on-demand video, where content is delivered from the geographically closest nodes to reduce latency.
  • AIOZ Storage: An S3-compatible, object-based decentralized storage infrastructure built for Web3 applications.
  • AIOZ Pin: An IPFS pinning service that keeps content permanently accessible, backed by the network's own built-in CDN.

What role does the AIOZ token play in the network?

The AIOZ token is the tool that powers both the security and the incentive layers of the ecosystem. Payments for services such as storage, streaming, and AI compute are made in AIOZ. Those who want to participate in the delegated proof-of-stake (dPoS) consensus can stake AIOZ to help secure the network and earn rewards.

Node operators who provide hardware resources and content creators are also rewarded in AIOZ according to their contributions. Token holders can vote on proposals about the protocol's future direction. On the supply side, there is no fixed cap: inflation is generated for staking rewards, but part of the transaction fees and a small percentage of node rewards are burned to counterbalance the circulating supply.

What sets this project apart from others?

What distinguishes AIOZ from similar DePIN projects is its integration of AI, storage, and streaming under a single, unified stack. The network can operate with both Cosmos (IBC) and EVM chains such as Ethereum and BNB Smart Chain via bridges; this blockchain-agnostic approach makes it easier to attract users and developers from different ecosystems.

That said, the project's core test lies in the balance between token incentives paid for hardware contributions and real, paying demand for the services. If participation falls, the network's capacity can suffer; if demand does not grow sufficiently, inflationary pressure on the token may increase. The decentralized infrastructure space also faces intense competition from both Web3 projects and traditional cloud giants.
